Algo de historia del Chevalier
El Chevalier es un pastelito muy típico, aunque muy reciente de la provincia de Burgos. Dicho pastelito los empezó a crear un famoso pastelero burgalés en los años 1935 ó 1936. Según varios pasteleros de la ciudad, el nombre del pastelito viene derivado del famoso cantante francés de principios de siglo, Maurice Chevalier, que puso de moda en aquella época el «canoutierè», sombrero de paja bajo, con el que cantaba sus canciones de moda. En la actualidad se ha convertido en el pastelito más buscado y valorado de Burgos.
