Algo de historia del Ponche Segoviano
El Ponche Segoviano es un dulce tradicional Segoviano que se empezó a elaborar en al año 1926 por el confitero Frutos García Martín, que comenzó su preparación y venta en su tienda de la Plaza Mayor de Segovia. En su momento, este postre tuvo tal éxito que hasta el mismísimo rey Alfonso XIII, asiduo veraneante en la Granja, animó a su inventor para que presentara su maravillosa creación culinaria en la siguiente Exposición Universal que tendría lugar en Barcelona en 1929. De allí salió vencedor con una medalla de oro, lo cual dio más popularidad a este dulce tan especial.
