La Caldereta de Langosta de Menorca, lleva preparándose hace décadas en la isla de Menorca, aunque hay que decir que cada chef tiene su secreto particular, pero todos ellos comparten el ingrediente común que es la carne de langosta. Para conocer el origen de este plato, debemos remontarnos al siglo XX, cuando los pescadores comían pescado a diario, siendo este uno de sus principales alimentos. Hoy en día es uno de los principales reclamos gastronómicos de Menorca, y la señal de identidad de la bahía de Fornells, sobre todo desde el 1 de abril al 31 de agosto, única época del año en la que está permitida su pesca.
