Algo de historia de la EnsaladaCatalana
La Ensalada Catalana es una estupenda receta para hacer de primer plato en cualquier comida. Combina hortalizas de la huerta con embutidos tradicionales catalanes, como pueden ser, catalana (embutido parecido a la mortadela), tripa de cerdo, butifarras, etc.. Su origen realmente es desconocido, aunque se cree que fue alimento de los campesinos catalanes, que tenían a mano tanto las hortalizas como los embutidos y los mezclaban regados con aceite y vinagre. Al comerlo con pan, representaba un buen alimento. La ensalada tiene variantes, en algunos casos le añaden además atún o anchoas. También espárragos y pimientos.
