Algo de historia de la Coca de Recapte
La Coca de Recapte es una receta muy tradicional en la provincia de Tarragona, aunque también es bastante consumida por toda Cataluña. No se conoce bien su origen, hay quien lo sitúa en la ilerda romana, por su parecido con la pizza italiana, otros lo relacionan con la comunidad árabe por la coincidencia geográfica de su asentamiento. La palabra «recapte» significa provisión de cosas para consumir o usar. La base más tradicional de este producto es una masa de pan horneada con escalivada, esto es cebolla, tomate, pimientos y berenjenas asadas a los que se añade otros productos que se puedan conseguir como sardinas, atún, butifarra y demás.
